Speaking of Astronauts...

Lt. Col. John Glenn Jr. (l) flew with the U.S. Marine Corps in Korea
while Maj. Gus Grissom (r) was flying with the U.S. Air Force,
logging some 102 missions over the peninsula.

Swingman for a Wingman

Sixty-five years ago, squadron leader and future astronaut John Glenn flew the F-86 Sabre, in Korea, with baseball great Ted Williams as his wingman.
